A New School Year!!!!

So today was my first day of school as a Junior.  It was a half day and I thought it was supposed to be a full one so I guess I got lucky.  I have 5 classes and they are: Advanced Composition, Pre-Calculus, Anatomy, Choraliers, and Forensics.  I'm really stressed about the first class because it's a prep-college class and we have to write a paper every week and do 20 pages of vocab.  I'm excited about anatomy and forensics because I like solving mysteries and learning about nature, it's fun.  I just got back from up north and we went tubing and went on the jet skies, it was really fun.  I wish Sarah and Dennis could have been there, but at least I got to see Sarah yesterday since she was in town.  Tonight I'm going to the Tigers game with my grandma, my cousins Dennis, Xavier, and Logan.  They play the Los Angeles Angels so they will probably lose.  Yesterday the Tigers played the Yankees and it was cool to see Pudge again, he got a standing ovation even though he's not on our team, but Detroit still loves him, and so do I.  I just hope school is fun this year and that I do good on the ACT and the MME (Michigan Merit Exam.) Go Lions!!!!

The Human Dolphin In Beijing

So I Just got done watching michael phelps like 5 minutes ago swimming the 100 meter fly.  Before the race, he had 6 gold medals in these olympics, 12 in his career.  So tonight he was going against his friend aaron crocker who had set a world record before in the 100 meter fly.  so tonight when the race began, he was in 7th place heading into the first wall.  usually he really picks up the speed coming to the finish line.  i don't know how he did it, but he came all the way from 7th place and beat this guy literally by a fingernail. (one-onehundreths of a second better)  I was laying on the couch with my cat on my chest, she was sleeping.  I thought phelps lost the race, but when i saw that he came in first, i just up and accidentally scared my cat and she fell on the ground, lol. Now as i'm writing this, they keep showing replays of the finish. even the guy who took silver was protesting that he beat phelps, but the judges didn't agree with him, so phelps now has 7 golds out of 8 and 13 lifetime.  today he swims at 10:15 p.m. and I cant wait.  its cool though because phelps trains in Ann Arbor, michigan!!!!

The Great Month Of June

Hey everyone.  This month has been the best month ever!!!!!!!  It all started off on Wednesday, June 4th when the Detroit Red Wings won the Stanely Cup.  I was in my grandma's car at the time going up to my Aunt Deb's in the U.P.  You will not believe how bad it felt not being able to watch the game.  I wanted to watch it so bad I called up my cousin Dennis and told him to record it for me.  When the wings won,  I was screaming so loud my gram and her friend nancy probably lost part of their hearing, lol.   I texted all of my friends and probably used up about 30 minutes since I have a minute phone.  When I got up to my cousin's house the first thing I did was watch the video from the game.  Watching Nick Lidstrom hold the Cup was THE GREATEST THING IN SPORTS ever since he's the first European Captain to win the Cup.  Hopefully we have the same magic next year.  It was sad to see the Pistons get dropped out of the playoffs but it was awesome to see a team that was nowhere near good last year to become NBA Champions this year.  Quite the story if you ask me.  Another great memory of this month was Tiger Woods winning U.S Open at Tory Pines.  He was literally playing on one leg because of the injury to his knee.  He would be limping off the tee, but still managed to force an 18 hole playoff with Rocco Mediate.  The playoff was really cool, it went back and forth so much that there had to be a sudden death.  Fortunately, Tiger won and it was extra cool because it was his first ever Father's Day. 

This month I started Drivers Ed.  I was sort of scared to start driving but it turned out very good.  I Aced the parking portion and did good on the highway.  The only thing I need to do better is stay at 70 mph instead of going at 60.  When you're in the passenger seat, you want the driver to faster, but when it's your turn, it's a whole different story, lol, trust me....  You will want to stay at 60.  Thursday I am going to get my permit,  I am soooo excited and my grandma can't believe it, "I'm getting so old, my youngest grandchild is driving," she says.

Well I have to go get a haircut that I have desperately been wanting.  I love Sarah and Dennis Jolly, lol!!!!
